This project achieves to see the potential of the area in Marina degli Aregai by increasing its connections and giving and experience through nature with both ecological and social dynamics.
Three different areas combine the identity of the park, which are the main park, the green roof and the shared street. Still the park works as one, and the differences are merging into one connected item.
While the western side of the park is designed as a calm and relaxing walk, the eastern side represents fun activities with playgrounds and sport arenas.
For the park area, we consider it as an intense, active but also recreational area. With the consistently of using curved lines, it gives an increased dynamic feel to the areas, and it hences creating an immersive experience. Both pedestrian paths and pergolas share this idea. Plants play an important role in the new park of Marina degli Aregai, as they are added to an area which did not have any at the beginning. With a detailed plant scheme the park fully uses it potential as a green area. The park has a variety of Mediterranean trees and palms, herbs which bring also shadow with their canopies.
